Hello
My name is Corine and I am the one inviting you to
open wide the windows
by joining me on the various paths
of meditative discovery and full presence
that I offer in person or online,
with poetry sometimes, not to say often,
and always with the concern of loving-kindness
for oneself and for others.
I also encourage you to discover other savors
through the proposals of my guests
to be found in
the section My guests under Guest House.

My Story
French girl born of a turbulent love story that still lasts,
the question of meaning has always been at the heart of my life path,
full of tears and laughter, "too sensitive" for some.
My first loves were for words and beauty
which blend so well in poetry.
In theater too.
But these discoveries were not serious enough,
the compromise was in medicine,
opening windows on the human sorrows and the pain of the bodies,
discovering the importance of what care is.
Its limits too.
It was then that the path of illnesses opened up
on which I stumbled for a long time,
wandered, struggled, wept of course,
but also really started to open the windows of my strength.
Across the Atlantic, in the Americas, meditation crossed my path
and became part of my daily life as a given,
leading me to the missing piece of my compassions,
the one I needed
to start daring to open the windows even wider
and invite you to join me.
My training and professional activities
> For the past few years, I have been teaching (I prefer to say accompanying) practices of meditation and compassion, individually and in groups,
in person or online, in French or in English.
I am teaching as well Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer's MSC program (Mindful Self Compassion) for which I am trained in both languages.
I am also a bi-weekly host on the American platform Palousemindfulness.com offering an asynchronous MBSR program with weekly and monthly live sessions; my two sessions proposing an introduction to self-compassion.
Previously, and for several years in France, I practiced as a Hospital Practitioner in charge of a Chronic Pain Clinic.
> I have been trained by the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (CMSC) in San Diego, California, USA, to teach the MSC (Mindful Self Compassion) programs in their long and short versions for everyone, and the short version for caregivers, with accreditation for online teaching, in French and English.
In addition, to deepen my teaching skills, I am constantly exploring and for example, I have completed the following trainings:
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (D.E.I.B), Self-Compassion as an Antidote to Shame, Fierce Self-Compassion, offered by CMSC.
- Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness Training (TSMT) offered by David Treleaven.
- The MBSR program, Meditation-Based Stress Reduction, at Brown University.
I am also a graduate of the French state with a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) with a specialization in Chronic Pain Management
> As the path of mindfulness can only be intimately understood through practice, I have a well-established individual and group practice.
Informal and formal, sitting or in movement, what I call "my soul shower" has now been a daily practice for many years and is as indispensable to me as the breaths that support it.
Finally, I am an active member of a Sangha lead by one of Frank Ostaseski's students, and of a self-compassion practice circle, both weekly, and I do silent retreats whenever possible.
